Aberfoyle,
Balfron, Buchanan Castle and Strathendrick are inexpensive picturesque
courses, all within 15 minutes from Crannaig House. The famous
Gleneagles courses are 30 minutes drive and
St
Andrews about 1 hour away. We can arrange tee times for you and
discounts can sometimes be arranged for our guests at the beautiful and
challenging Aberfoyle Golf Course; please feel free to ask. For anyone
interested, the 19th hole at Aberfoyle is not at all bad either and for
returning guests, the catering has come a long way in recent years
too!! |

Shooting
Clay
pigeon shooting is available locally at Ledard Farm (01877 387219), under the personal
tuition of a local firearms expert. Archery lessons for beginners and
improvers can be arranged, again under the personal tutelage of an
expert. Ledard Farm also have a rifle range.
Archery
There are facilities for archery nearby and your host John
will advise on those local archery opportunities.

Stalking can be
arranged.
your hosts Ann and John have friends in a most remote hill
farm location offering deer stalking - this near unique
and strictly regulated opportunity to hunt game in the
National Park is only available for a short season each
year and is never inexpensive, but if this type of
exclusive experience and special memory is for you, guns,
ammunition and tuition are all available.
